COVID-19 Vaccinations and Nexus

It is now law for all Health Care Workers to be vaccinated for COVID-19 by the 26th November 2021.

Nexus Primary Health takes the safety of our staff and clients very seriously. Our staff, students and volunteers will be double vaccinated well ahead of the deadline of the 26th November 2021.

We will ask about your vaccination status when you book an appointment with us. This is to ensure that our staff have a safe work place. This includes our ‘on site services’ and our ‘in home services’.

You will not be able to join in with groups until further notice if:
  • You have not been vaccinated yet or
  • Do not want to tell us your vaccination status

You may be able to receive ‘one-to-one’ treatment and our staff will need to wear eye protection, gowns and masks if you have not been vaccinated or do not tell us your vaccination status.

If you need some help to you organise your vaccination you can call us on 1300 77 33 52. We would be happy to help you.

If you would like to find out more about Nexus and vaccination, please visit our COVID-19 Vaccination and Nexus  page or call us on 1300 77 33 52.

We appreciate your help and support. Nexus is keen to get back to a more ‘normal’ way of delivering services to you and helping you to ‘live well in your community’.

On Monday 13 January 2025, Nexus transitioned to a governance structure led by SCCH. While both organisations remain separate entities, they will be governed by the same board, and Nexus’ Chief Executive Officer will report to SCCH’s Chief Executive Officer, allowing the organisations to better explore the potential community benefits of a merger.
